- require ADHD-friendly organizing advice.

- are navigating a move or life transition.

My Approach

My organizing work is grounded in deep, holistic care and collaboration. As a professional organizer, my goals are for you:

- to live a life that is less overwhelming.
- to have supportive systems in your home.
- to become more attuned to your needs.
- to dream about future possibilities.
- and take some small steps to get there.

My work is part decluttering, part designing, and part simply caring for you & your home.

About Me

I have a background in ethnic studies and ten years of teaching and mentorship experience.

I also have a PhD and MFA; through scholarship and art practice, I have researched how family, gender, and capitalism shape us and our homes.

I see home as a place to rehearse our histories, our identities, and our deepest desires & needs. Organizing work is important to me because it allows us to reorganize habits born from shame & self-sacrifice into habits of agency & love.

Testimonials

"Kazumi is genuinely collaborative, bringing their own vision and artful eye while staying deeply attuned to what I wanted."

"Whenever we hit a stuck point, Kazumi would have always some trick to apply: let's try moving this, let's organize that one thing, let's just see what happens. That experimenter's mind kept everything moving forward."

"I felt like Kazumi cared about my well-being, even though they just met me. They showed concern for my functioning and eating and cooking, and they put our organization into action in those areas as well."
